چکیده

In this study, a series of numerical analyses meteorology, runoff, river flow, and inundation were performed to quantitatively evaluate the effects historical warming on precipitation, discharge, water level, flood inundation. This study was Chikuma River Basin in Japan caused by Typhoon Hagibis 2019. The impact analyzed comparing nonglobal experiments (NonWs) control (CTLs) reproduce current situation. Calculated results showed that ratios index CTLs NonWs (mean CTL mean NonW) as indicators 1.08, 1.22, 1.08–3.08 for total peak level (from pre-flood high-water level), respectively, 48.1 595 overflow depth volume River, respectively. Results hydrologic-sensitivity analysis indicated influence during last 40-year period already evident flooding, whose sensitivities higher than those discharge level.

Appropriate Hydrological Modelling of Climate Change Impacts on River Flooding

How good should a river basin model be to assess the impact of climate change on river flooding for a specific geographical area? The determination of such an appropriate model should reveal which physical processes should be incorporated and which data and mathematical process descriptions should be used at which spatial and temporal scales. A procedure for determining an appropriate model has...

Coastal sound-field change due to typhoon-induced sediment warming.

Typhoon induced sediment warming has been proven important to coastal sound-field change in this study. It was observed that the temperature of the bottom waters off the coast of Qingdao increased by 5 °C after the passage of typhoon Damrey in 2012. Sediment warming due to bottom-water temperature increase was calculated and the change in sediment sound speed was estimated. Transmission loss (T...

Investigation of climate change impacts on streamflow regime of a river Arazkooseh River Basin

In this research, impacts of climate change on the streamflow hydrological status of the Arazkooseh River are discussed. After Calibration and validation of the LARS-WG, HadCM3 was downscaled under A2 Scenario in three climatology station. Beside, calibration and validation of the SWAT model were done by observed data relative to past period of times. Streamflow values are then predicted using ...

Model appropriateness for simulation climate change and river flooding

An important question in water resources and related subjects is how an appropriate model should look given a specific research area and objective. This question is dealt with by developing a model appropriateness procedure based on model uncertainties. The procedure has been applied to a river basin model meant to assess the impact of climate change on flooding in a large river basin to illust...
